Africa: Cross border trade coordination enhancing industrilization

MORE INSIGHT Minimal impact from missed broadcasting migration deadline – Muthambi Digital migration to start in Q2 The team, which would report on their progress on a quarterly basis, would guide the sharing of strategies surrounding the release and use of the digital dividend for “other” undisclosed services; the sharing of technical implementation best practices around set-top box sourcing and distribution, besides others; the cooperation of content development and information dissemination to facilitate social cohesion and integration; and the establishment of a mutual recognition agreement for standards and conformance for equipment type approval. The arrangement would also result in the development of a comprehensive checklist highlighting areas requiring attention and cooperation.
